Co-Teaching: A Special Partnership

Throughout the TWIN-CS Network of schools, pairs of dual language educators work together to co-teach their young, emergent bilingual students. In this brief video from EdWeek, a two teachers who work together closely every day share their observations. They discuss the trust they have developed in each other, the ways they show respect for each other to the students, and how they have come to form a close, personal bond. As the new semester gets underway, it may be helpful to share this video with co-teachers in the Network.

  1. I really enjoyed this video. It hit home and is so true. I was co-teaching at the beginning of the year and it really was a great partnership. We balanced each other very well and we were able to show the students how even though we thought differently we were able to come to the same answer. Most of the time this occurred during math.
